Located in the heart of Fort Collins, the Gardens on Spring Creek features 12 acres of curated botanic beauty, providing inspiration, peace and respite to visitors.

The Gardens on Spring Creek is the perfect place to come together.  Pack a picnic and make a splash in our Children’s Garden, featuring  numerous inviting areas for curious kids to explore, discover and grow – including our giant watering can play area.

Savor the flavor of our Garden of Eatin’ vegetable garden demonstrating edible plants and crops appropriate to grow in Northern Colorado and generating thousands of pounds of produce annually for the Food Bank for Larimer County.

Don’t miss the naturalistic plantings of our renowned Rock Garden as well as our Foothills and Prairie Gardens.  View waterwise plantings by celebrated garden designer and plants woman Lauren Springer in our Undaunted Garden, which also features one of the largest collections of cold-hardy cacti in the country.

Our blooms continue year-round in our tropical Butterfly House, a year-round home to hundreds of butterflies with beautiful plantings they love. In partnership with the Butterfly Pavilion, this warm sensory experience allows all ages to get “up close” to butterflies and plants in a tropical environment all year long.

From Garden of Lights and our Spring Plant Sale to summer concerts and Pumpkins on Parade, The Gardens has family-friendly events all year long.  Don’t miss our new art installation this summer:  A Journey of Growth and Transformation.  This exhibit takes the viewer on a journey through a series of sculptures depicting the stages of growth and transformation.

Once you’ve finished exploring, stop by our gift shop to pick up a momento of your visit including art, home décor, wellness products and gardening gifts, many by local artists.
