When you’re traveling, there’s nothing better than a welcoming and comfortable place to rest at the end of a long day.

Whether your perfect respite includes a refreshing beverage in a swanky hotel cocktail lounge, burning off steam in a state-of-the-art fitness facility or just unwinding in your guest room, Best Western® Hotels & Resorts has something to offer every traveler. Best Western is part of a global hospitality company that includes WorldHotels® Collection and SureStay Hotel Group®, providing travelers with a comprehensive portfolio of hotel offerings—from midscale and upper economy to boutique and luxury. The network encompasses 18 brands and approximately 4,500 hotels in more than 100 countries and territories worldwide—meeting travelers wherever their destination may be.

For more than 75 years, the Best Western name has been synonymous with hospitality. While its brands are unique and hotels may be independently owned and operated, each owner carries the brand’s strong spirit of caring and a solid commitment to the guest experience.

Here are three reasons to make Best Western part of your travel itinerary, starting now.

Enjoy rich rewards.

When you stay with Best Western, the perks go beyond modern amenities and free Wi-Fi. AAA Members save up to 15% on room rates with the AAA rate. Members who sign up for the AAA PreferredSM Best Western Rewards® program will earn even more points and perks, including:

  • 10% extra rewards points with every stay.
  • An automatic upgrade to gold member Best Western Rewards status.
  • Points that never expire.
  • Worldwide free-night redemption.

Best Western Rewards is one of the richest loyalty programs in the industry. With points that never expire, Best Western Rewards’ more than 50 million members have access to exclusive rates, rich rewards and incentives. Rewards earned through Best Western Rewards can be redeemed for free nights, gift cards or charitable donations that make a long-lasting impact for the benefit of those in need.

In North America, and soon to be available globally, Best Western Rewards’ Pay with Points program provides added flexibility, allowing travelers to plan their next hotel stay using their points to pay for part of that stay. For just 5,000 points, travelers can save $25 toward the room rate and have the flexibility to use more points toward the cost of their room.

Your pets are welcome, too.

Many Best Western locations are pet-friendly, with extras like dog treats and dog walk paths.

Best Western Hotels & Resorts welcomes your pets at more than 1,600 hotels across the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. Some properties offer places to walk your dog and provide waste facilities. They may even give recommendations for pet-friendly parks, stores and restaurants.

Best Western pet-friendly hotels may allow up to two dogs in a rented room, with a maximum size of 80 lbs. per animal. Other pets, such as cats, birds, monkeys, snakes or other animals, are allowed at the discretion of each property and require prior approval.

Additional charges for pets may apply. When making a reservation at a pet-friendly hotel, it’s best to contact the hotel directly with specific questions and to guarantee a pet-friendly room.

Consider the planet.

Best Western Hotels & Resorts has long been known for its spirit of caring for guests, communities and the environment. As part of this effort, many hotels offer electric vehicle charging stations to accommodate guests who are reducing air pollution with energy-efficient cars. Best Western Hotels & Resorts has over 200 hotels across the U.S. with electric vehicle stations.

Best Western Rewards members may earn points by opting out of housekeeping services. Hotels that meet certain sustainability and performance criteria earn the brand’s coveted Champion Green Award. From the linens in your room to the water offered in the lobby, every effort is made to choose a more sustainable way to host and serve you.
