The word cruise often evokes images of large ocean liners with people sunbathing on the lido deck, visiting tropical islands and attending elaborate shows at night. Not to take anything away from cruising the open sea, but by sailing the world’s rivers, you can take in a range of experiences in a unique way.
Sailing by river means enjoying all the conveniences of a traditional cruise, along with all the benefits of inland travel. Stopping in multiple destinations on every trip, you’ll visit bustling cities and hidden-gem villages, unpacking only once along the way. Constant proximity to land and shoreside resources offers the ability to disembark at any time if necessary. Even while onboard, you’ll be surrounded by the local sights, with ever-changing views right outside your window.
